By car

RESTRICTIONS FOR LOW EMISSIONS AREA

Please keep in mind that there are restrictions on traffic in the metropolitan area on weekdays (Monday through Friday) between 7 am and 8 pm.

Foreign vehicles:

All foreign vehicles that are going to visit Barcelona must sign up and pay € 5. Please note that the initial application will take 15 business days to resolve (almost one calendar month). You can register at: https://zberegistre.ambmobilitat.cat/en/VehiclesEstrangers

Foreign vehicles that meet the environmental requirements may circulate after registering and obtain a long term authorization. The registration fee will be € 5.

Foreign vehicles that do not comply with the environmental requirements may obtain authorization to circulate through the restricted area for 10 days a year during restricted hours (weekdays from 7 am to 8 pm). Once the registration has been made, the daily authorization (daily cost must be consulted on the official webpage of the Ajuntament de Barcelona) may be requested until 11.59 p.m. on the previous day.

Spanish vehicles

If you have a vehicle with a Spanish license plate number, please note that those with environmental label 0, ECO, C or B can circulate without restrictions through the restricted area. DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO GET TO THE HOTEL

No matter how you enter Barcelona, follow the signs for the B-10 Ronda del Litoral, which runs along the coast.

- If you're coming from France, turn off at Exit 21 "Ciutat Vella" and go around the Plaça de Drassanes roundabout. Exit the roundabout at Avinguda del Paral·lel and after about 500 metres, turn right onto Carrer Nou de la Rambla; after 250 meters turn left onto carrer Sant Olegué and immediately after turn right onto carrer Marqués de Barberà; when you get to the Ramblas turn right and then again take the first right, which is Nou de la Rambla. At about 70 m you will find the Gaudí Hotel and the Edén Parking.

- If you're coming from Madrid or Valencia, turn off at Exit 21 "Ciutat Vella" and go along the Paseo Josep Carner up to the Plaça de Drassanes roundabout. Exit the roundabout at Avinguda del Paral·lel and after about 500 metres, turn right onto Carrer Nou de la Rambla; after 250 meters turn left onto carrer Sant Olegué and immediately after turn right onto carrer Marqués de Barberà; when you get to the Ramblas turn right and then again take the first right, which is Nou de la Rambla. At about 70 m you will find the Gaudí Hotel and the Edén Parking.

By train

Once at Sants station:

- If you decide to go by metro, take the L3 (green) line and get off at "Liceu". The hotel is 350 metres away. Leave the metro station and walk down Las Ramblas towards the sea, turning right onto Carrer Nou de la Rambla. Just opposite the Palau Güell, you'll see the Hotel Gaudí.

- Alternatively, you can take a cab from Sants station, which will cost you around €15.

By plane

Barcelona Airport is 16 km away.

- If you choose to take a cab, the ride from the airport will cost you around €35 each way.

- If you choose to go by bus, take the Aerobus (A1 or A2) and get off at Plaça Catalunya; once there, you can either catch a taxi, take the metro (one stop on the L3 green line, getting off at the "Liceu" station) or stroll 1 km down the Ramblas until you reach Carrer Nou de la Rambla. The Aerobus costs €5.90 per person each way.

- If you decide to take the metro from the airport, the L9 Sud (orange) line will drop you at Zona Universitaria, where you'll have to change to the L3 (green) line and get off at Liceu. The hotel is 350 metres away. Leave the metro station and walk down Las Ramblas towards the sea, turning right onto Carrer Nou de la Rambla. Just opposite the Palau Güell, you'll see the Hotel Gaudí.
