The city boasts some wonderful parks. Don’t miss Park Güell, where light takes on a different meaning. Equally as popular with locals and visitors is Ciudadela Park, home to the Catalan Parliament and Barcelona Zoo. Neither should you forget about the Jardín Botánico or the Jardines del Mirador, just below the hilltop Montjuïc Castle, which affords outstanding views over the city. Another must-visit is the Tibidabo Mountain, where after a trip on a restored Tranvía Azul (tram) and the Funicular you can enjoy jaw-dropping views of the whole city.
